ABOUT US

Welcome to Our World

THE WHY

To Reconnect Humans And Reignite Your Spirit

We exist to help you activate that inner light that engages your deepest self and brings positive momentum to your endeavors. Our model of experiential learning with horses integrates coaching and the wisdom of horses and the natural world to create impactful personal development.

In New Zealand, where our founder grew up, no stronger example of personal power exists than to believe oneself to be the kind of person who could “fix anything with a piece of number eight wire.”  In addition to using number eight wire for its intended use as fencing, Kiwi ingenuity led to a wide range of applications including fixing machinery. That's why we chose Eight Wire to symbolize possibility combined with a can-do attitude.

We believe you have that level of boundless potential and resourcefulness within you too. And we can help you to access the tools and resources to create a joyful and fulfilling life.

Roseanna Stanton, PhD

FOUNDER, COACH, AND FACILITATOR

Roseanna works with organizations and individuals to enable them to realize their goals through coaching, learning & development, and assessments. She has a background in strategy and planning from her 15+ years at Georgetown University and New York University where she accomplished outstanding results through developing, launching, and marketing educational programs. However, she discovered that the real learning happens in the arena of life and that horses are the best teachers and guides.

Certified as a Leadership Coach through the Georgetown University Institute for Transformational Leadership and in Equine Facilitated Learning by the HERD Institute, she creates powerful connections by bringing horses and people together. She holds an MA and Ph.D. from New York University, and “street cred” with her horses.

The Grey

EQUINE COACH

This magnificent large land mammal has a lot of presence. His strengths include a peaceful nature and an ability to help humans to be present in the moment. He is uniquely skilled in giving people the confidence to be all that they can be. He responds in amazing ways to humans who harness the power of connection and collaboration.

The Bay

EQUINE COACH

No equine team would be complete without this guy’s spirit. Always eager to participate, interact, and explore, he is ready for his next adventure. He’s in his element teaching people to be clear about whether they wish to lead or follow. He helps humans to understand how they can create boundaries in their relationships with others. Playful and spirited, he embodies the joy of being alive.

The Chestnut

EQUINE COACH

This pony has a lot of heart. The first to greet you, his large eyes reveal a wise and gentle spirit. He’s happy to be surrounded by adults or swarmed by small children. He teaches everyone he meets to be clear with their intentions and how they relate to others and the space around them. He shows humans how to make requests that take into account the needs of others.
